These Students Learn About Being a Union Craftsperson

Whitwell High School held its first bi-annual all-union Career Fair recently, bringing freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniorts together for the event.

Day and Zimmerman played a major role in creating this event for the school and then hosting it for the union trades such as ironworkers, painters, electricians, and sheet metal workers. For the Carpenters Union, Local 74's Kim Hall and Mid-South Training Program Executive Director Rickey Moore attended. The school had about 150 students come participate in the four-hour event.

The Carpenters Union table saw a LOT of action!
